Ok so my friend Shelly (she worked with me) the cool Thursday Tech girl envited me to this tattoo party .. bro went and this other girl from work Terry she is a Doctor hahaha and well this place did FREE body painting haha Shelly always does it when they have a party but this was Terry (the Doc) first time doing it and it was the first time I really got to go out with a bunch of people from work haha it was such a FUNNNNNNNNN night and you know i had to share!!

Ok so as you all know Danit gave me a Nintendo DS and a game so the other day bro and I went to the game store and bought a few more games ... i started to play nintendogs in the store and it was kind of fun .. i remembered danit telling me its either a hit or miss with people .. so i was like shit I need another game so why not ... OMG I AM GONNA KILL MY DAMN DOG...IM TALKING KILL HIM DEAD BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO FEED HIM OR GIVE HIM WATER .. Everything says keep petting him but I do and do and do and nothing ..NO OTHER ICONS OTHER THAN HOME =( ... omg he is gonna die and I am gonna cry and I am gonna be soooooooooooooooo mad at Danit for this!! Danit he gets passed his name and remembers it ... then after like 10 mins of petting him he forgets his name and we have to go through the steps of naming him all over again ... And when I look at how he is doing he is in need of water and food ... DANIT

Ok so working at an animal hospital has lead me down a few new roads in my life. One is thinking more and more about our earth and what we can do to help not only it but also ourselves... hahahaha not truly green but doing things around the house to lessen the electric bill and also bettering my life ... but not only has it lead me down the green road but also down a few other roads such as out ocean .. its crazy because years ago i wanted to be a marine biologist so bad haha that is until i found out they work in a lab most of the time .. then that turned me offffffffff from that career ... but my love for the ocean has never gone away .. i find myself more and more interested in shows about the ocean on the discovery channel than i have ever been before ... i think its because of the new job I have decided to take over .. who knows .. but what I do know is that the other day at work this lady brought up a video on youtube and of course when I got off of work that morning I had to check it out ... after watching it i found myself wondering why i never bought a boat and sailed around the world. HAHAHA dont laugh .. its the truth .. a few years ago i was mins away from buying a boat to do that but i didnt of course .. who knows maybe one day i will .. it is a goal of mine!! ok ok ok this post is all over the place .. i really wanted to post the video i came across on you tube!

SLOW NIGHT

IT WAS A SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW NIGHT AT WORK .. nothing good happened and the time just took forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate nights like that .. but then I hate the busy as hell nights .. ugh I cant with but I would rather be busy than slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww to where you look at the clock and its 9pm then you do something and glance at the clock and its 9:02pm ... KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE



2 oclock toooooooooooooooook forever ... and my DS died when I was in court .. i had jury duty today ... noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not a good start to the week!

NINTENDO DS

I helped Danit wrap up her Miami Nintendo Tour and whoohooohooo I got a FREE DS and game ... Plus I got to see her so that was a plus bc she has been BUSY !! But I do have to state that DAMN HER FOR THE DS .. I was up till 8am playing it .. I AM HOOKED ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD .. but also... THANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNK YOUUUUUUUUUU DANIT because when I have slow days at work thats what I will be playing to pass the time along haha !!

I think its Puppy season

Its been a crazy week at work ... slow slow slow with a few burst of craziness lol .. i do have to state that I think its puppy season .. due to the large number of Female pregnant dogs that came into the ER contracting .. the first pup was cool .. i was like omg can I hear the puppies heart beat and feel them in her stomach ... lol .. the answer is no you cant hear the hearts with just a stethacope haha but you can totally feel them .. then we have to set up a little cage depending on the size of the dog with lots of towels and then cover the cage to let her do what she has to do ... it was all awwww sooo cute .. till ewwww her water broke and then she had one pup .. after that it went all down hill for me ... i was like i will sooo passssssssss watching the joy of disgusting birth BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH .. so yeah the first dog great awww the next 8 dogs that came in during the week was like shit where do you want her .. lol!! I deicided not to post the pics I took because umm well they were sort of gross and I will spare you all the bloodyness of puppy birth!!

House Fire Victim

Reason for ER Visit: House Fire Victim

She was in her cage during a fire and she came in 3 weeks ago after the fire for smoke ventelation but after a week of noticing she was acting funny she was brought back to the ICU and the doctors noticed she was cooking from the inside out. She has some burns on her body that they addressed at the time but for some reason dogs over heat fast and that is what happened. They never cold her down they just treated her wounds and breathing at the time. So They had to take away the cooked dead skin and then fix her up.... I was with her when she went under and then when she woke up after surgery. It was sooooo cool and she is such a sweet dog!! Her owners are lucky to have her and to have saved her!

I had to gurney her outside and also muzzle her because she was in pain and hurting so it was mostly for my safety but other than that she was such a sweet heart and also my dog of the week!!

You know every night when I am in the ICU i think of all the losses and all the sad owner and the crazy emergences we have to deal with but at the end of the day we always have one patient who I can look at, smile and say its all worth it!! I think when I cant find that anymore I am done but as look as I can smile and say its all worth it even if it was just one life I got to help or save then I am happy at this job!!
