Laura Ling, the sister of former View host Lisa Ling, has been detained by North Korean officials on the border of North Korea and China. According to the AP, Laura, along with another journalist, Euna Lee, were “detained by North Korea for ignoring warnings to stop shooting footage of the reclusive country.”

I am familiar with Laura’s work on the Current TV channel and she was likely filming something for them at the time of her detention. According to the organization “Reporters without Borders,” Ling and Lee were last seen on March 17th and the North Koreans claim that they “illegally crossed into North Korea from China while shooting video along the river.”

I first was alerted to the story on Twitter, where Sherri Shepherd posted, “Lisa Ling’s sister is being detained in Korea - they’re hoping Clinton can intercede - please pray for Laura Ling’s safe return home.”

Im hooked on a movie

Its been a while since I have actually watched a movie over and over and over again but I must say this movie is one that I have been hooked on. I am not sure if its because it was filled in Greece that keeps me coming back or if its because I think its a great movie .. actually ima have to say BOTH!!

Gift from Little Bro's trip

My little brother works for a supplement company "work out supplements". Well he goes out of town a lot & usually brings me stuff back home. Except the past few times he hasn't. How rude is that when I drive him to the airport at the ass crack of dawn sometimes & also pick him up all hrs of the night sometime, & the this trip this crazy ass kid brings me this home from this show he worked on.

Now at first I was like LOL then after a 2nd look I was like "is little bro trying to tell me something?"....things that make u go hmmmm :)

So my friend Hooper told me about this book .. and well I knew about the movie and heard about the series and also the author but didnt really think twice about the book till she told me she started to read it and well I was like ok we are gonna have out own book club hahahaha so I went out and bought the book and have told her she has to wait till i catch up to her to start again .. sooo folks this is the new series I am now hooked on .. check it out!!

FINISHED THE GAME

Ok so for the past few months .. I wont really tell you how many .. I am sad to say that today at 3:00pm on OCT 1st Hooper and I finished RESIDENT EVIL 4 on gamecube .. and let me tell you it was soooooooo good!! GREAT GREAT GREAT GAME I MUST SAY .. not only was it good it was sooo intense and the creativity and the animation and the story line were out of this world .. i give it a wow... double wow at that ... I have to tip my hat to the game designers for that game!!

has arrived as a completely fresh gaming experience that will both astound fans of the series and quiet its detractors. It's action/adventure gaming at its absolute finest -- yes, Action... with a capital A.

I GIVE THIS GAME A 10 on the gaming scale !!
