“It's hard to swallow reality at times. It's a tough situation for me. It's a tough situation for my family too, but it's something that happened. And especially being in the situation she was in, knowing she had cancer, knowing that unexpected day would come. ... Death is always unexpected, no matter if they put a time on (how long you have to live). I'm just blessed to be able to have had the time I did with mom the last few months!”
