THE HURRUCANE BLACK OUT FROM HELL!!

Ahhh its finally over ... ok ok ok only the hurricane not the how many millions of people who are without electricity! DAMN KATRINA DAMN HER TO HELL!!

Ok yeah so during the Hurricane I went over to my friend (alyssa's) house just because I was like ok we can so entertain each other and sanely get through this boring hurricane. It started off fun not to much drama or anything really to share till around 10am. This is when I was like what did I get myself into hahah!! Thurs in the early AM she told me I needed to help her move a few things outside. OMG this is where the "I AM GONNA KILL YA" started. Ok a little 411 I hate lizards :\ anyone and everyone know I totally hate them. Well she wanted me to go in this area (where I am sure lizard's are just reproducing by the dozens) to move this firepit. Yeah that was not gonna happen even before I saw the lizard in the pit she had to chase out for me. After some begging and sad looks for help haha I sucked it up and so helped her out but it did not end. Yeah I know I know what a friend is right trust me I keep telling myself that one. O wait this totally gets better!! Now its time to move this big ass plant thing. O god describing it does no justice IT WAS HUGE. Well she told me to stand underneeth and lift it up, so she can unhook it and lower it .... hahaha again that was not gonna happen ... DUDE we live in South Florida and lizards live in plants like this big ass one she needed to move so I laughed at her for about 5 mins and then yes gave in and sucked it up. Yes I was totally trooper and helped her ... Ok Ok Ok I had to draw the line somewhere so I only helped her lower it she had to move the thing.

Yeah thats only hr one of this drama filled boring day!! Around 11 we went tot Blockbuster yes blockbuster I know I know I am totally ANTI-BUSTER b/c NETFLIX is the best thing ever, but when your in need of some entertainment you will do whatever to pass the time so we had to go to the store and rent some movies LETS REMINISCE NETFLIX: You pick out what flick you want online, they send it to you the next day and you get to keep it as long as your want. No drives to the video store to come to realize the movie you want it all out, no long lines, no impatient people like myself around :) just you and your mail box ...... AHH GOT TO LOVE THE LAZY WAY OUT OF THINGS!! Ok so we hit BB and WOW was everyone there (IT WAS A MAD HOUSE) but it was expected because a million other people needed some sort of entertainment too right so all was good.

We got home and then the boredom started. OMG it was crazy!! Really you can only entertain yourself and someone else for so long!! All was ok we watched the news. the news, the news, and O wait did I mention we had the news on TV. It was a weekday nothing was on TV at all so yeah KILL ME is right!! We ate dindin, made some s'mores on the stove, and then sat to watch a movie. Ahh yeah finally its movie time .... All started off well till every sign that was given to us was saying "THE INTENTION OF WATCHING THIS MOVIE TONIGHT IS NOT IN YOUR CARDS" yeah the power went out. OMG it was hell .... I know what hell is gonna be like when I get there!! In all this what I have learned about myself is I can never be amish OMG how do people live by candle light .... O yeah and one question??? Why is it that when the lights go out you still insist to turn on the light switch when you walk into a room. I could not tell you how many times we all did that haha but every time I was still as funny as the last!! Yeah ok so it was such a long, hot and sticky night .... Come to find out when I called dad the neighborhood had power. GEESE is right no lie my house is in a little david bubble.

Ok so the new name for the house I was staying at is now called FORT KNOCKS ... and will forever be known as FORTKNOCKS!!! Yes it was that bad !!! Alyssa's mom heard all and a no lie would not even let us go outside to run around like crazy people. I was so shocked she let us open the window, but ugh it was bad !! Think about it FLA HEAT and no AC yeah AMISH all the way. We stayed up most of the night talking and making hand puppets by candle light on the ceiling , O yeah I cant forget to mention the crazy pics we took during this boring time. The entertainment was slowly fading away but it was still fun!!

The next morning I called dad and we headed over to mi casa.... ahhh AC was a luxury I must add. You know you really forget how important those little simple things in life really are.

As soon as we got here we so went swimming ahhh is right!! Over all it was boring but fun at the same time. Would I want to do it again hahaha YEAH RIGHT, but it was a good turn out.

O yeah I am so gonna go loco sitting inside the house, and yes last but not least here we go again gaining another 10 lbs off of junk food b/c us Floridians dont learn to just get the fuck out of FLA during this time !! We all tend to by the same shit ass junk food and in this time of boringness our routine is ... eat, sleep, shit, and pig out some more!! Yeah its always a good time to catch up on those flicks we all tend to miss out on during the year ... its a floridian tradition to pig out and watch movies during a hugh storm ... O god that is if the power stays on . ... OMG I dont even want to think about the power going out holly shit I am gonna have to think of some storm shit to do ... AHH BINGO ... I GOT IT .... EMERGENCY SOLUTION ... crack open the liquor cabinet and piss those few days away, drunking and LOL :) !! AHHH THE JOY OF A HURRICANE !!

MISS MOM

ALL THATS LEFT IS AN UNHAPPY ENDING!!

Its been one week today since I brought my new car home ..... I have been thinking of mom lately =.( !! Everyone keeps telling me that this loss in my life will get easier but yet is seems to get harder and harder!!

Getting my new car is the first special thing my mom has missed out on and all I can think about is how I will have so many more days in my life that she wont be a part of =.( !! I got a new car and my mom is not here to enjoy it with me even though she hates 2 door cars, how mom usually gives me a lucky dollar when it comes to things like this, how mom was always the first one to do everything with me, how when times got tough I turned to her for advice and a hug ... wow the list goes on and on =.(

Its days like these that I wish I had one wish upon a star *

YEAH BEEN MISSING HER MORE AND MORE AS THE MONTHS GO BY!!

That saying .... "you dont really know what you have till its gone" ... WOW its so damn true ... Whats left now is to wonder why people take even the little things in life for granted??

MTV VMA's 2005

As you all know the 2005 MTV VMA's are back in town (AFRICA HOT MIAMI) and yes its sad to say I am not working the show for a number of reason. After thinking about it I have decided since the weather has been AFRICA HOT OUT and I would probably be doing the same shit ass work as I did last year (HAITIAN WORK) it was really not worth taking this gig ... I could really use the money right now but with the hours, the driving to MIAMI every day, the heat outside, the stress, the fainting (stagehands along with me last year), and the people just using you because of your hard work.

Yeah it was not at all worth it to me after really thinking about it!!

So to all of you who are working the show THIS POST IS FOR YOU

Ok so since I got the car the rest of last week went so great all was in order and now I just have to worry about payments which I am sure I will totally take care of some chrissie way :)

Friday
Met Danit at Einstein's (got a beagle and caught up on life) it was fun! After that I headed to pick up a friend (Alyssa) from school. Ok come on you totally know I had to sport the bug at a high school lol , O YEAH and the hotties OGOD I am totally going to jail even thinking of a few hot guys I saw !! Anyway when I saw her I honked hahaha the bug has a herbie horn ( I know I know what else did I expect) whatever it was still funny !! We drove around for a while, got an early din din and then decided to met bro (Michael) to do some black light bowling. Yeah all plans went to hell with that ... Lets just say after driving around for 1hr and 30 mins we finally decided to go to Flanagan's (restaurant) to eat at 11pm. That was just the beginning of the worst night ever!!

Michael drank and let me tell you when he drinks the kid knows how to talk. Ok Ok Ok we all know Micahel and I both know how to talk but with a little alcoho in himl he's like the energizer bunny ... he keeps going, and going , and going , and going and yes still going!! Well we dropped him of at home around midnight and I was on EMPTY in my gas tank so I really needed to get gas. I had Alyssa in the car so she pumped gas while I ran to the gas station restroom because I felt sick. Ok let me just say I had flashbacks of December (airplane food poisoning) all over again. I felt so sick I threw up all I ate at the restaurant in a public restroom, yes a public restroom you read it right, O yeah cant forget to mention a guy walked out of the woman's restroom before I went in it .... GROSS is so right!! That night the plan was to spend the night at Alyssa's and I did just that but I must say I totally became great friends with her downstairs toilet I have named Shitter : \ !!

Saturday
Saturday comes along and after a night from hell and yes I was so hungry but yet scared to eat anything. Alyssa her mom Julie and I went to get breakfast and I ate a beagle ... felt that was the safest thing to eat and it stayed down thank god!! O yeah FYI NOTE: I think parallel parking should be put back in driving test in order to get your license .... Story: This lady was trying to parallel park in a NO PARKING FIRE ZONE..... YES NO PARKING ZONE.... UMM HELLO WHAT PART OF NO PARKING DID SHE NOT UNDERSTAND ?!?!?!? I think she either slacked off from reading her driving manual or skipped that section in the book. So now the question that is left in my head is .... how the hell did she get her license to kill Ooops I mean drive?? After about a 30mins later and yes 40 attempted maneuvers she parked (shitty) but parked and came into the restaurant to eat breakfast!! Ok now all my friends wonder why I park my new car so far away in parking lots .... AFTER SEEING THAT I THINK I NEED TO PARK HIM EVEN FARTHER AWAY FROM STUPID PEOPLE hahaha!! Do we have to give people credit fot the attempt (I mean she did try right) or should we just call her a DUMB ASS for doing that and then showing her face to the world. Ok it gets even better they left a dog in the car ... yes a dog so of course I am so against that ... WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT ... Windows up and all ... I saw this service aid guy getting into his vehicle, so I ran up to him .... yeah after running passed the car I noticed it was on, but still I wanted to inform him about the dog. I get to his car and he was a hottie .... IM A DORK.... anyway he said its just a dog and the car is on ... I said WHAT JUST A DOG so its ok to leave my kid unattended with the car on .... he said no a kid is a kid ... yeah my dog is like a kid too !! WHATEVER we really got nowhere with that convo so I walked away ... I MEAN WE WONDER WHY SHIT HAPPENS TO KIDS and ANIMALS LEFT IN A CAR ... hello anything can happen in a min .... the car can shut off for whatever reason .... the air can crap out (we do live in FLA ) .... So not only can these people not drive but if they treat a dog like this I feel so sorry for kids if they have any!!

Ok now we are off to the mall and again more stupid people ... this woman parked her stroller right behind Alyssa and no lie I thought Alyssa was gonna end up inside the stroller with the kid .... She flew right over it ... GOD MAN PEOPLE NOW A DAYS DONT THINK!!

Slow day but fun !! Hung out with Alyssa and her mom again :) !! It was Movie Sunday we saw ..... MUST LOVE DOG ... it was so good cant give away to much because my next post will be my Chrissie Movie Review :) but it was such a funny movie!! Then wel all went swimming ..... PS KIDS OMG WOW HAVE SO MUCH ENERGY is all I have to say!! I ate din din with them >>> Breaded Skirt Stake <<>

8-15-05 was not just another monday for me :)

Ok so the idea of getting a new car has been an up in the air idea for a while because I really do need a new car but I really did not want to have a car payment. Ok when its monsoon raining outside and you get in your car to get out of the rain, and your friend has her hands up in the air cup like saying "Chrissie your sunroof is leaking" I think its really time to not only consider one but get off my ass start looking and actually get one. Since I do live in South FLA and it rains every day during the summer the leak is not at all a good thing!!

Today we hit the car dealership. Michael called me to ask me if I wanted to go with him because he saw some good deals and if the price was right he was gonna buy one. We get there and I start walking around of course YES I see this car and totally fell in love with it. I asked the guy to test drive it, loved the drive, and signed the paperwork to put a deposit down.

Monday .... The first day of the week ... I guess the first to everything sucks ... ie. first day your car breaks down, first day on a job, first day date, first day fight, first day of class, first day to a new school year ... yes the list can go on and on and on!

Why is it that on Wednesday (HUMP DAY) the week fly's by but when Monday comes along its an eternity till the weekend. Is it just all in our heads or does time really speed up.

Well I am back from my mini trip. Since I have not posted and or called anyone I think you have figured out that I extended it by a few days or my plane just went down and I am dead lol just kidding. I decided to stay a few more days to spend some time with Steph, Dave, Jackson and Samantha because they could not go to Disneyland with all of us. It was well worth it because I had fun!!

PLANE RIDE

PITSBURGE to PHX (yeah why I went north before I went west was what I was thinking)
Landed at around 11:30am. Steph and the kids picked me up and when Jackson saw me he said "where Micahel" ... DAMN KID ha ha ha !! Well we drove around town, stopped at the mart, and then headed to aunties house for the night.

THE ASS CRACK OF DAWN
FRI:
We were all up so early OMG it was crazy but something we had to do so we all showered, and was out of the house by 6am. Yes 6am.... just a little 411 is when I am at my aunties house sleep is nowhere on the agenda. We made a Starbucks stop and then started our 6 hrs car drive to Anaheim California. Ok Ok Ok we stoped twice but over all the drive was not to bad except for LUCY. O MY GOD LUCY .... Lucy is this pain in the ass female nightrider. Ok in the Acura MDX my aunt and uncle have a GPS system. Dont get me wrong it was so great because Lucy got us everywhere. O shit I'm sorry I'm getting ahead of myself .... I named her LUCY because the voice is a female and you know how you say " I LOVE LUCY" Yeah it was the complete opposite "WE HATE LUCY"!! YES YES YES WE ALL KNOW I AM A DORK LOL JUST DEAL WITH IT AND KEEP READING!! Anyway like I said she got us everywhere we needed to go. This trip you can say was the ultimate test .... and the test went great. All but the fact that you can see every miles you have driven and have left to go along with the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) that was the worst part of the drive because every time I looked up there it was the TIME LEFT and the MILES WE HAD LEFT.... it was crazy and sort of made the trip feel longer, but over all it was fun we listened to XM radio which I highly recommend if you are the traveling type. We made it to California by noon. We hit traffic for about 30 mins but then it was a sweet ride right to the hotel.

When we got there our room was not ready to Auntie, Uncle and I grabbed some grub :)!! When we got back to the hotel and I got a call from David (Colleens Husband) on my cell to see what I was doing. I was not up to much just wanted to relax but nope not when I am on VACATION haha I headed over to the park. They were at California Adventure so I bought a 2 day hopper pass for Disneyland and California Adventures. They are literally right across the way from each other (not at all like Disneyworld). Anyway I left Auntie and Uncle at the hotel and took the bus from the hotel to the park, bought my 2 day hopper pass for $106.00 and headed into the park. I surprised Courtney and also Colleen it was so funny!! Then a few hours later Auntie and Uncle met us at California Adventure. Since we had a hopper pass when California Adventure closed at 10pm we headed over to Disneyland to watch this show called FANTASMIC. O GOD it was so amazing if you get a chance its a must see show!! Its an electric light show but so intense it last about 30 mins. WOW IT WAS AMAZING!! The best seats in the house are right in front of TOM ISLAND. After that we turned in for the night knowing Sat was gonna be another early AM morn and long day!! I stayed with Colleen David Courtney and Zowie :)!!

THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH or NOT

DISNEYLAND has finally come whoohoo the whole day at the happiest place on earth!!! Ok Ok Ok for kids not so for adults because everyone is rude hahaha the best ride is the ride back home. Na not that bad it was crowded but its something to expect at Disney in the summer so we dealt with it and the day turend out to be a lot of fun. O GOD THE downfall was we walked all over the place. I wish I had a step-o-meter to see how much we really walked. Disneyland is 2/3rds the size of Disneyworld and yet the walking felt like I did all the parks in FLA in one day!! We just walked and walked and walked and walked. Anyway it was fun, got to ride rides, and act like a kid so what more could you really ask for when it comes to fun :) !!

We met Caroline and Fred at the hotel (Sheridan Anaheim) where we were staying at 9am, ate breakfast and talked till around 2pm. It was nice seeing them ... glad they could both see Zowie (Colleens little girl). At around 2:30pm we started our venture back to Phoenix. This time around it was crazy !! Wow talk about a monsoon I totally felt like I was back in FLA ... I saw my first tumble weed hahaha Uncle ran over it and said "Oooppp we squashed it" Auntie got mad but I thought it was funny LOL. Well we made it back home safe and sound then stopped for some grub (din din) at Applebee's :)!! After that we went home and I called the airline to see about extending my trip a few days. I wanted to do that because I did not really get to spend anytime with Steph, Dave, Jackson or Samantha so if I could get on a flight and not have to fly standby I was gonna take it. After talking to 10 people from US AIRWAYS (the stupidest people in the world) I finally got this nice dude who helped me. All went well and I changed my Tix forThurs. I called Steph and about 10:00 pm she came to aunties house to pick me up. Then we drove back to her casa in another monsoon. The weather was so crazy no kidding !! We finally got to Stephs casa safe and sound around 11pm. Dave (Husband) said hi to me and then was gonna go to bed, but before he did he asked me if I knew how to use the TIVO TV remote ... I said yes but is QUANTUM LEAP gonna be to be recorded.... NOTE: Last time I spend the night I turned off TIVO when it was recording the last episode of that show ... so now its an on going joke ... he said "no when I knew you were coming I checked to see what we have lined up to be recorded" ... HAHAHA then we all went to bed :)!

I went to school with Steph (she works at a daycare) and I watched Samantha and helped her clean her room. Damn those people who kept bringing shit into her room !! Yeah ok just to let you all know I wont be doing anymore Puzzles anytime soon hahaha yes a pile of puzzles were on the table and I had to put them all together to make sure all the pieces where there!! YEAH what a pain in the ass job and what ever happened to puzzle pieces that are for likes 5-20 pieces not like 40 or 50. DUDE THEY ARE KIDS!!! After that day we went back to her casa and Dave made lasagna haha he burned the bottom of it. Funny story last time I was there Steph and I tried to speed cook. You know when you crank up the heat to cook something in a shorter amount of time hahaha YES WE ARE DORKS.... Well we burned the top of it ....Come to find out burned cheese is better than burned bottom macaroni :) BUT IT WAS STILL GOOD!! After din din we went to the 24 hr MART because Steph needed school supplies and I needed to get together a care package for my friend who broke her toe. We did that, got home, and hit the sack :)!!

Dave went to work in the early early early ass AM (I did not hear him leave the house) funny when I told steph that she said Jackson stood in front of my face and stared at me on the sofa hahahaha I must have been tired because its not like me at all to not wake up!! CRAZY KID!! I got up at 6am took a shower and we headed back to the school. I left at around 10am to hit the post office to mail out my care package. OMG UPS is so expensive but it had to be done!! After that I went back to the school and played with Samantha :) she is so cute and so good!! Well around noon 30 we leave the school to go to do the walk through for the new house. I was the first to get to see Steph and Daves new house and OMG its so nice :)!! Much bigger than the old one which they needed because they have 2 kids but so perfect. O yeah they have a fire-pit in the backyard and also a keg hahaha yes its a 1/2 keg that stays cold... CRAZY SHIT but awesome for parties :)!! We did the walk through then had to go back to the school. Steph had parent night at 5pm and they still had stuff to do!! On the way back I get a phone call from my broken toe friend telling me she is just weird and missing a bone in her toe (ITS NOT BROKEN) in my head I was like they better need to amputate that fucken toe because that care package cost more than the package I send to a friend who was studding a semester in the NETHERLANDS. Yeah ok after that thought I got over it WHATEVER THE PACKAGE IT OUT hahaha!! Anyway 5:00 came and the town of kids and padres walked into the door. HOLLY SHIT its still a total blur they came in like a heard of animals. No lie I could not tell you what one kid looked like!! Anyway when that was over we headed to aunties house, ate din din, and then said our good byes. I packed and then watched some TV.

Before I knew it 5am came around. Had to get up, and get ready to leave one again :( !! It was sad I hate leaving but had to come home. We hit starbucks before and then Uncle took me to the airport !! Dropped me off around 6:30am and I had more than enough time to get to my gate (Flight was scheduled to leave at 8am).

We boarded at 7:30am and one hr and 30 mins the flight was still on the ground something about engine trouble ... yeah holly moley is right ... I was thinking let me off please but I had a hottie sitting next to me LOL IM A DORK!! We sat on the plane for that whole time so not only do I have a 3 1/2 hr flight to Charlotee, NC but I am sitting on a plane for an additional hr. WHAT A SHIT ASS START TO A SHIT ASS DAY!! We finally got into the air and yes by now I so have to pee... yes pee I am talking bladder is full. My thought was could my bladder explode due to the pressure on the plane like a bag of chips or your shampoo bottle ... Ok I was not gonna take that chance hahaha!! I was in the window seat so I had to tell the hottie next to me that I needed to use the restroom ... HOW EMBARRASSING ... but whatever when ya got to go ya just got to go .... yeah my thought in the lavatory was how many people have really joined the mine high club lol ... anyway we landed and yes since we were late I missed my connecting flight ... I saw it taking off ... DAMN AIRLINES ... PS they only gave me 30 mins to catch my connecting flight ..WHAT THE HELL IS RIGHT!!

Since I missed my connection I was now flying standby new flight was scheduled to leave at 5:05pm ... ugh what to do now??? They had food on the plane but yeah right after food poisoning in Dec 2004 seven days of PURE HELL I opted to pass on the airplane grub so in N.C. I decided to grabbed some grub ... Sabrro Pizza ... thought I could not go wrong with that ... to charge $12.92 for a pizza, soda, and side salad was just WRONG ... but so was the food pick ... the food was so nasty.... but I was so hungry haha!! I finally got on the plane and caught up on some Zzzzz's. Michael picked me up from the airport and I started to unpack when I got home!! Yes I unpack that day ... I have to !!

OVER ALL THE TRIP WAS GOOD!! EVERYONE IS DOING GREAT AND IT WAS NICE TO SEE THE KIDS AND THE FAMILY AGAIN!! NOT SURE WHEN I AM GONNA GO BACK BUT IT WILL BE SOMETIME IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS :) WHEN I DO I WILL BE SURE TO LET YOU ALL KNOW AND KEEP YOU UPDATED!!

So of Course I had to post a comment and also my thoughts about something I watched on TV last night!

Hollywood is a town with such a short attention span and so many beautiful girls littering the landscape with the tag "The Next Big Thing" doesn't mean too much. If anything it often puts pressure on the recipient to live up to an image they aren't quite ready for. There have been a slew of actresses given this in the last few years: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alicia Witt, Alicia Silverstone, Rose McGowan, Neve Campbell, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Denise Richards and Reese Witherspoon to name but a few. Most of the roles these women take need little actual acting ability, but require looking good in form fitting clothes. And while these pictures have small budgets and offer a good return on the dollar, they offer little in the way of artistic achievement.

Though she too did her fair share of exploitive, less than spectacular, B movies (Cyborg 2, Hackers, Playing God, Foxfire), actress Angelina Jolie has recently opted to take her career in a direction that values substance over style.
A heartstoppingly beautiful woman and the daughter of Oscar winner Jon Voight, Jolie's got the acting chops, the brightest blue eyes ever, high-cheekbones, dangerous curves and pouty lips that would fill any modeling agency's wish list. Its so crazy how we live in a strange world, where the biography section of bookstores contains titles about people who are still in their 20's. By all rights, any bio of Angelina Jolie blockbuster star of Gia, Girl, Interrupted, and Tomb Raider, Mr and Mr Smith and the list goes on :) should be divided into two sections: "Beautiful" and "Fucked Up." Jolie, of course, is both, and anyone with enough interest in her to pony up the money for her new "star" biography would already be convinced of both these things, but would (presumably) want to see more evidence of both.

I mention the themes of "Beautiful" and "Fucked Up" because they are the twin poles of our obsessions in the modern world. If you're going to be famous, you'd better be either extraordinarily pretty (like every female actor or musician I can think of) or extraordinarily strange (think Marilyn Manson or the freak shows of reality TV). And of course even better if you're both – after all, we love our beautiful women, but we also kind of hate them. With this in mind, Angelina Jolie does seem a perfect subject for that , because Jolie has a fascination with knives and sadomasochism, had affairs with members of both genders, and for all practical purposes made out with her brother at the 2000 Oscars. Jolie may in fact be the rare beauty who actually merits the attention lavished upon her.

I enjoy Angelina's work thats just my own petty psychological justifications because she's so damn beautiful. Her performance as Lisa in Girl, Interrupted was the only good thing in an otherwise awful movie, and her star-making turn in Gia pinned me to my seat, dont even get me started when it come to Mr and Mrs Smith her chemistry on screen with Pitt was phenomenal. Its those kine of movies that an actress not only shines but makes the movie what it is!!

Jolie said, "You think beauty and fame and money should make a person happy? I don't think so, if you don't have love and you don't have people to share it with. I think a lot of people have that feeling inside, that we don't think that people care about who we are inside or understand us." One doesn't have to play armchair psychologist to see that Jolie is living with some serious damage, but has also come such a long way growing and also in hollywood. I'm excited to see how far she'll go!!
